The logo of SALAG is circular in shape with the traditional brown nest imbedded in the center of the circle. Salag is a Visayan term or dialect which means nest.

The three (3) eggs in triangular formation represents the united stand of the 3 sectors of the society where the members belong namely: the former military and uniformed personnel (MUP), the Reservists, and Security Guards and the civilian volunteers. Also, they represent the major services of the AFP; Philippine Army (PA), Philippine Navy (PN), and Philippe Air Force (PAF). The laurel leaves around the Salag symbolizes the organization advocacy for peace.

The meaning of SALAG acronym spelled out Servants Alliance for Local Autonomy and Growth surrounds the laurel leaves with the acronym HADR at the bottom, stands for Humanitarian Assistance, and Disaster Relief, is the primary advocacy and mission of the Foundation.

The rope encircling and bounding the logo symbolizes the oath of every member to be a “life – line” to the local community in times of need.

The dominant color of green stands for the advocacy for environmental protection and as peace loving non-government organization.
